Description
When your planter disc starts picking up mud, crop residue, and sticky soil, it can’t cut clean furrows anymore—and that means uneven seed placement. This inner scraper keeps disc openers clean so they’ll slice through residue cleanly and create consistent seed slots where your seeds can settle properly. It’s that simple maintenance piece that makes all the difference between spotty stands and uniform emergence.
What You’re Getting
- Sturdy steel construction that holds up to tough field conditions and constant soil contact
- Two mounting holes for secure attachment that won’t wiggle loose during planting
- One-inch width that provides proper coverage without interfering with disc operation
- Direct replacement part that bolts right into place on your existing mount
Built for Real Farm Work
This scraper is designed for Kinze 3000 series planters that handle everything from no-till corn and soybeans to cover crop seeding. Whether you’re planting into heavy corn stalks or working clean-tilled ground, this little piece keeps your disc doing its job properly. It’s especially handy in wet conditions when soil wants to build up on the disc face.
Made to Last
Farm conditions are tough on small parts like scrapers, so this one’s built from quality steel that can handle the constant scraping and vibration. The AgSmart construction means it’s designed to work season after season without bending or breaking when you hit rocks or hard-packed soil.
Installation Notes
This scraper mounts with two bolts to the inner side of your disc opener assembly. Before installing, check your row unit for excessive wear on the mounting bracket, and a light coating of anti-seize on the mounting hardware makes future removal easier. Position it close enough to scrape effectively but not so tight it binds up the disc.
