Description
When you’re hooking up implements and need a secure connection that won’t come loose during operation but will disconnect when things go sideways, a ball shear yoke is what you want. This heavy-duty tractor yoke locks onto your 1-3/4″ 20 spline PTO shaft with positive ball engagement, giving you the confidence that your driveline will stay connected through bumpy fields and heavy loads while still protecting your equipment if something binds up.
What You’re Getting
- Ball shear lock system provides secure engagement with safety release under extreme loads
- Built for 35 series applications handling serious torque from larger tractors
- 6-inch center-to-end length gives proper geometry for most driveline setups
- 1-1/4″ bearing caps and 3-7/32″ cross length handle the power without premature wear
- Precision-machined 20 spline bore ensures tight fit on your tractor’s PTO shaft
Built for Real Farm Work
This yoke is designed for the demanding applications you find on mid to larger size tractors – everything from heavy rotary cutters and large square balers to feed mixers and manure spreaders. The 35 series design handles the power these machines put out while the ball shear mechanism protects expensive gearboxes and drivelines when something suddenly stops turning.
Made to Last
Farm equipment manufacturers like Weasler don’t mess around with PTO components because they know what’s at stake. This yoke is built with heavy-duty construction throughout, from the precisely machined spline bore to the robust bearing caps that keep universal joints running true even under the constant angle changes of field work.
Installation Notes
The ball shear mechanism is designed to engage positively – you’ll hear it click into place when properly seated. Make sure your PTO shaft splines are clean and lightly greased before installation. If the yoke won’t engage fully, don’t force it – check for debris or damage first. Once installed, test the engagement by trying to pull the yoke off by hand – it shouldn’t budge until you operate the release mechanism.
