Description
Working early mornings or late into the night requires proper warning lights, but that beacon won’t do much good bouncing around on a broken bracket. A beacon light is only as good as its mount. You can have the brightest LED or fastest-rotating amber light made, but if it’s wobbling around on a bent bracket or sitting low where nobody can see it, you might as well not have one. This left-hand beacon bracket assembly provides a solid mounting point for your safety beacon, keeping you visible to other equipment and vehicles when operating in low-light conditions.
What You’re Getting
- Heavy-duty left-hand bracket assembly designed specifically for Ford 40 series tractors
- Thicker steel that won’t fatigue from constant vibration or bend when you accidentally bump it with the loader bucket
- Pre-drilled holes align perfectly with 40 series cab mounting locations for easy installation
- The finish resists rust, so it won’t deteriorate into a weak mess after a few seasons of rain and road salt
- Wide platform accommodates various beacon light styles and sizes for maximum visibility
Built for Real Farm Work
Your Ford 40 series tractor – whether it’s a nimble 5640 or powerful 8340 – depends on tight front end components for safe operation. These 60-120 HP machines handle everything from mowing and raking to heavy tillage, and when you’re pulling wide implements or navigating narrow farm lanes, precise steering control isn’t optional. Whether you’re moving between fields at dawn or working late during harvest, this bracket provides the solid foundation your beacon needs, positioning it high enough to be seen over implements and from all angles. It’s especially important when you’re moving wide equipment on public roads, working near highways during harvest, or operating in areas where visibility is critical for safety.
Made to Last
We’ve all bought those thin, stamped-metal brackets that come with budget beacons – they last about as long as morning dew. This replacement bracket is built with reinforced mounting points to resist vibration fatigue and cracking that causes factory brackets to fail. The powder-coated finish provides real protection against the rust that weakens brackets over time, especially important if you’re working in tough conditions or coastal areas.
Good to Know
This LEFT-HAND bracket fits all Ford 40 series tractors including 5640, 6640, 7740, 7840, 8240, and 8340 models. Installing this bracket is a 30-minute job that’ll save you from cobbling together something with angle iron and zip ties. Use stainless steel hardware if possible – regular bolts rust and make future removal difficult. Position the bracket so your beacon sits level when mounted; a tilted warning light looks unprofessional and might not function properly if it’s a rotating type. If you need the right-hand side, order part number 43501. Check your beacon’s operation and wiring condition while you’re at it – a new bracket won’t help if your light doesn’t work.
