Installation Notes

A new radiator deserves a complete cooling system refresh—flush the engine block thoroughly since decades of scale and sediment will quickly contaminate your new radiator. Replace all cooling system hoses since old hoses fail internally and release rubber particles that clog radiator tubes, and install a new thermostat because stuck thermostats cause overheating regardless of radiator condition. Bleed the system completely—air pockets cause localized overheating.
