Installation Notes

Clean the seal bore thoroughly before installation and inspect the shaft surface for any grooves or damage that could cause rapid seal failure. Use a proper seal driver to avoid damaging the seal lips during installation. A light coating of clean gear oil on the seal lips helps with installation and initial break-in.
