Installation Notes

Standard spin-on design threads right onto your engine block—hand tighten plus 3/4 turn with a filter wrench. The anti-drainback valve means you won’t lose prime when you change filters, but still let the engine idle a minute before putting it to work. Keep the old filter’s rubber gasket from sticking to the mounting surface.
