Description
When you’re running a vintage Ford or Oliver tractor, you know how important it is to keep that engine happy with clean oil. These older machines have earned their place on the farm through decades of reliable service, but they need proper filtration to keep running strong. This Baldwin BT251 oil filter captures dirt and contaminants before they can wear down your engine’s internals, helping you get many more seasons out of your trusted workhorse.
What You’re Getting
- Anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the filter when you shut down, so you get instant pressure on startup
- 8 PSID bypass valve ensures oil keeps flowing even if the filter gets plugged with debris
- 7-1/8 inch length with 3-11/16 inch outer diameter provides ample filtration capacity
- Standard 3/4-16 thread size threads right onto your existing filter base
- Works with OB40079 base for flexible mounting options
Built for Classic Farm Work
This filter is designed for Ford and Oliver tractors that have been the backbone of farming operations for generations. These machines typically handle everything from cultivating and planting to hay operations and loader work around the farm. Whether you’re restoring a classic or keeping a reliable workhorse running, proper oil filtration is critical for protecting these time-tested engines.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making quality filters for decades and understands what it takes to protect engines in demanding farm conditions. The robust construction and quality filter media capture contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow, standing up to the vibration and temperature swings that come with agricultural work.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that installs in minutes. Apply a thin coat of clean oil to the gasket before threading it on, then hand-tighten 3/4 turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening makes the next change harder and can damage the seal.
