Installation Notes

Handle the unit carefully during installation – never store it on its side or upside down, as this can cause the silicone fluid to migrate and affect performance. Inspect your fan blades for cracks or damage before installation, as a bent fan will quickly destroy a new clutch. After installation, the fan should freewheel easily when cold but gradually engage as the engine warms.
