Description
When you’re hauling a loaded grain cart down a county road or holding a heavy implement on a hillside, there’s no room for brake failure. Brake failure with a loaded wagon or on a steep slope isn’t just dangerous – it’s potentially deadly. This heavy-duty master cylinder restores full braking power to your Case tractor, providing the reliable stopping force you need when hauling heavy loads or working challenging terrain. Your Case 84 and 85 series tractors handle serious workloads every day, and this master cylinder delivers the hydraulic pressure needed for confident stops.
What You’re Getting
- Precision-engineered brake master cylinder is the heart of the hydraulic braking system, converting mechanical force from the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure for reliable, responsive braking performance
- LHM fluid compatibility – CRITICAL: Uses LHM fluid only – never use standard brake fluid
- Precision-machined components that maintain consistent brake feel without the fade or sponginess of worn units. The design specifically accommodates LHM fluid’s unique properties, ensuring optimal brake performance in all conditions
- Heavy-duty construction that withstands the demanding conditions of farm work
Built for Real Farm Work
This master cylinder fits Case IHC 84 and 85 series tractors, along with industrial and telehandler models. These versatile machines handle everything from fieldwork and loader operations to transport duties and material handling. Proper brake function is essential for differential braking during sharp field turns, emergency stopping situations, parking on inclines, and maintaining control during transport operations.
Made to Last
Master cylinders endure thousands of pressure cycles in demanding conditions. This replacement is built with quality materials that handle the heat, vibration, and pressure cycles that come with farm work. The cylinder maintains consistent brake pressure and prevents the system fade that can happen with worn components.
Installation Notes
Bench bleed before installation. Clean all brake line connections thoroughly before installing the new master cylinder. Brake system safety: NEVER mix fluid types – LHM systems require specific fluid for proper operation. Adjust brake pedal free play to specifications. Remember to bleed the entire brake system after installation, starting with the furthest wheel from the master cylinder.
