Description
When you’re smelling exhaust fumes in the cab or hearing that telltale rumble from a cracked pipe, it’s time to fix your exhaust system. This 54-inch extension pipe is the rear section that routes exhaust gases safely away from the tractor and operator. A damaged exhaust pipe doesn’t just make noise—it can fill your cab with dangerous fumes and create hot spots near fuel lines or hydraulics.
What You’re Getting
- Heavy-duty steel construction built to handle constant heat cycling and vibration
- Proper 1-1/2 inch inlet and outlet dimensions for correct fit and exhaust flow
- 54-inch length provides proper routing away from operator and tractor components
- Direct replacement part that works with other exhaust pipe sections NCA5255B and NCB5255B
Built for Real Farm Work
This pipe fits Ford tractors with 134 CID gas engines, including the 501, 600, 601, 700, and 701 models from the mid-1950s through early 1960s, plus early 4-cylinder 2000 series tractors. These workhorses handled everything from cultivating and mowing to loader work and belt-driven equipment. The 800 series with 172 CID engines also uses this same pipe design.
Made to Last
Farm exhaust systems take serious punishment from temperature swings, road debris, and constant vibration. This pipe is manufactured from heavy-wall steel that resists cracking and rust-through. The proper wall thickness handles the heat without warping, and the steel construction holds up to years of bouncing across rough ground and tight spaces.
Installation Notes
This pipe works together with pipes NCA5255B and NCB5255B to complete your exhaust system. When replacing exhaust components, it’s smart to check the condition of connecting pipes and gaskets too. Apply penetrating oil to rusted connections the night before removal, and use new gaskets and clamps for a leak-free seal.
