Description
When you’re running heavy equipment day in and day out, your engine oil is what keeps those expensive internal parts from turning into scrap metal. This hefty 12-inch Baldwin filter is built for the tough conditions that come with construction, mining, and industrial work—where a regular automotive filter would give up in minutes. Whether you’re operating excavators, compressors, or heavy construction equipment, clean oil flowing through your system means the difference between reliable operation and costly downtime.
What You’re Getting
- Extra-long 12 3/32 inch filter body provides maximum filtration capacity for extended service intervals
- Robust 5 3/8 inch outer diameter and heavy-duty construction built to handle high pressure and vibration
- Standard 1 1/2 – 16 thread size fits OEM specifications without adapters or modifications
- Anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the filter when you shut down for instant lubrication on startup
- Quality gasket included ensures leak-free installation and proper seal
Built for Industrial Work
This filter works with Atlas Copco compressors, Demag cranes and material handling equipment, and Caterpillar construction machines. Whether you’re running a compressor at a job site, operating a crane on a construction project, or pushing dirt with heavy earthmoving equipment, this filter handles the demanding duty cycles and harsh environments that come with industrial applications.
Made to Last
Baldwin filters have been protecting engines for decades with quality media that captures contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow. The sturdy construction handles the pressure fluctuations and harsh conditions your heavy equipment faces every day. The extended length gives you more filtering surface area, which means longer service life and better protection for those expensive engine internals.
Installation Notes
Apply a thin coat of clean oil to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening can damage the gasket and cause leaks. The long filter body means you’ll need adequate clearance during installation—check your space before removing the old filter. Change this filter according to your equipment’s service manual, typically with every oil change or at specified hour intervals.
