Good to Know
Use pipe thread sealant on the male NPT end—it’s tapered threads that need compound to seal properly. The JIC end seals with the flare and O-ring, so no sealant needed there. Hand-tighten the swivel end first, then give it a quarter turn with a wrench to seat the flare.
