Description
When your hydraulic system starts acting sluggish or your three-point hitch doesn’t respond like it should, there’s a good chance your hydraulic filter needs attention. A dirty filter is often the culprit that’s starving your system of clean fluid and setting you up for expensive failures. This Baldwin BT8393 hydraulic filter keeps your Ford or New Holland tractor’s hydraulic system running smooth and protects those expensive pumps, valves, and cylinders from contamination damage.
What You’re Getting
- Built-in 15 PSID bypass valve ensures hydraulic oil keeps flowing even if the filter gets plugged with debris
- Quality filtration media that captures particles and debris before they can damage sensitive hydraulic components
- Thread size of 1 1/8-16 for secure mounting and proper seal with G401 gasket
- 8 3/16 inch length provides adequate filtration capacity for demanding hydraulic systems
- Baldwin construction engineered to handle the pressure spikes, temperature swings, and contaminant loads that come with real-world hydraulic work
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter works across a range of equipment including Ford tractors and New Holland machines used for everything from moving material around the farm to running specialized equipment for agriculture, keeping hydraulic systems running smooth and responsive when you need them most. Whether you’re operating a three-point hitch, running a front-end loader, or powering hydraulic implements, clean fluid is what keeps everything working right.
Made to Last
The sturdy housing withstands the vibration and stress of daily operation while the quality filtration media holds up to the demanding conditions your tractor faces every day. Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they know what it takes to handle farm conditions with media designed to trap particles while maintaining proper fluid flow.
Installation Notes
This spin-on filter threads directly onto compatible bases—just spin off the old filter and thread on the new one. Make sure to apply a thin film of clean hydraulic oil to the gasket before installation, and hand-tighten plus 3/4 turn for proper sealing. Check your hydraulic fluid level after changing the filter and top off if needed.
