Description
When you’re running your Massey Ferguson telehandler all day—whether you’re moving feed, stacking bales, or loading material—clean hydraulic fluid is what keeps everything working smoothly. This hydraulic pressure filter stands guard against the dirt, metal particles, and debris that can turn expensive hydraulic components into costly repairs. When hydraulic filters get clogged or bypass, contaminated fluid starts circulating through your system, leading to sluggish operation, seal damage, and eventually complete hydraulic failure when you need your equipment most.
Key Features
- High-efficiency filtration media captures particles down to 10 microns, protecting pumps, valves, and cylinders from microscopic contamination
- Heavy-duty construction withstands high flow rates and pressure spikes that occur during demanding telehandler operations
- Pleated design maximizes surface area for extended service intervals, reducing downtime during busy seasons
- Quality bypass valve prevents system damage if filter becomes clogged, keeping you operational until you can service the filter
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter fits the entire Massey Ferguson 50 series industrial lineup, including the 50B, 50D, 50H, and 50HX models. These are the compact utility machines you see everywhere – from construction sites and landscaping operations to farm work like barn cleaning, material handling, and general utility tasks. These advanced hydraulic systems generate tremendous heat and pressure, making clean filtration absolutely critical for reliable operation. Modern tractors have hydraulic systems operating at pressures exceeding 3,000 PSI, and even microscopic contamination can cause catastrophic failures.
Made to Last
The robust construction ensures the element maintains its integrity even under pressure spikes and flow surges that occur during normal hydraulic operation. Superior construction materials resist degradation from hydraulic fluids and operating temperatures, so this filter keeps protecting your investment season after season.
Installation Notes
If the system has been contaminated, consider flushing and changing oil along with the filter. Keep a spare filter on hand – hydraulic system failures during critical seasons can cost you more than the price of several filters. Drain hydraulic system partially during replacement. Replace filter housing gasket and check for proper sealing.
