Description
When your top link’s threaded end gets worn out or damaged, you don’t have to replace the whole assembly. This replacement end lets you rebuild your existing Cat 1 top link and get back to work without breaking the bank. If you’ve been putting off fixing that sloppy or seized top link adjustment, here’s your chance to make it work like new again.
What You’re Getting
- Left hand thread design that won’t back out under normal operation
- 3/4 inch pin diameter that fits standard Category 1 three-point hitches
- 1-1/8 inch thread size matches most common top link assemblies
- Direct replacement for multiple brands – no modifications needed
- Quality construction that handles the stress of implement operation
Built for Real Farm Work
This replacement end works with Category 1 three-point hitches found on compact and utility tractors up to about 65 horsepower. These are the workhorses running bush hogs, cultivators, tillers, and other implements on small to medium farms, hobby operations, and property maintenance jobs.
Made to Last
The threads are machined to proper specifications so they’ll mate cleanly with your existing top link tube. The pin end is built to handle the forces from hydraulic lift cylinders and implement weight without bending or breaking under normal use.
Installation Notes
Before you start, make sure you have the left hand thread version – it’s designed to tighten as the top link operates. Clean the threads on your existing tube and apply a light coat of grease to prevent seizing. If the old end is really stuck, a little heat and penetrating oil usually does the trick.
