Description
When you’re working on irrigation lines, pump systems, or any plumbing project around the farm, you’ll often need to connect pipes of different sizes. This reducer bushing lets you step down from a 3/4 inch female connection to a 1/2 inch male connection, making it simple to connect different sized components without starting over or buying all new fittings.
What You’re Getting
- Polypropylene construction that won’t rust, corrode, or crack like metal fittings
- 3/4 inch FNPT (female threads) to 1/2 inch MNPT (male threads) for common size reductions
- Chemical resistant design that handles fertilizers, herbicides, and other ag chemicals safely
- Direct threaded connection – no gaskets or additional sealing needed with proper thread sealant
Built for Farm Work
This bushing works great in irrigation systems, livestock watering setups, chemical transfer lines, and pump connections. Whether you’re plumbing a new sprayer system, upgrading your barn’s water lines, or connecting tanks to pumps, this fitting handles the size transition cleanly and reliably.
Made to Last
Unlike metal fittings that can rust out or galvanized ones that eventually corrode, poly fittings stay strong season after season. The polypropylene material resists UV damage, chemical exposure, and temperature changes that would crack cheaper plastic fittings. Banjo’s been making these fittings for agricultural use for decades.
Good to Know
Use quality pipe thread sealant or tape on the male threads for a watertight seal. Don’t over-tighten – hand tight plus one or two turns with a wrench is plenty for poly fittings. If you’re working with pressure systems, always test your connections before putting the system into service.
