Built for Real Farm Work
These Massey Ferguson 100 and 200 series tractors are found on farms everywhere, from the trusty 165 loader tractor to the bigger 290 doing heavy field work. Whether you’re using your Massey for feeding cattle, running a bush hog, or pulling a planter, precise steering makes every job easier and safer. The industrial 50B models see tough use on construction sites where steering takes a real beating.
Made to Last
The hardened pins and ends are the key here – cheap turnbuckles use soft metal that wears out fast under power steering stress. This assembly uses proper heat-treated components that maintain their shape and tight tolerances even after years of use. Those left and right hand threads mean you can adjust length by just loosening the lock nuts and turning the center section.
Installation Notes
This is typically a two-hour job if you’re working on level ground with good access. You’ll need to support the front end safely and disconnect the old turnbuckle – sometimes those pins are stubborn after years of service. A bit of heat and a proper pin punch usually does the trick. Once the new assembly is in, use a tape measure between the front and back of your front tires to get close on alignment.
