Description
When your Solo diaphragm pump starts losing pressure or the pumping action feels off, it’s often the connecting rod that’s worn out. This little piece does the heavy lifting—literally connecting the pump handle to the diaphragm mechanism that builds pressure in your tank. Without a good connecting rod, you’ll be pumping twice as much for half the results.
What You’re Getting
- Updated design that’s more durable than the older 4074233 model it replaces
- Precision fit that restores proper pump action and pressure building
- Compatible with newer style diaphragm plates for improved performance
- Direct replacement part that gets your sprayer back to full working condition
Built for Real Farm Work
This connecting rod fits Solo’s diaphragm pump backpack sprayers—the workhorses you rely on for everything from spot spraying weeds to applying herbicides and pesticides around the farm. These diaphragm pumps are popular because they handle a wide range of chemicals without the wear issues you get with piston pumps.
Made to Last
Solo designed this newer connecting rod to handle the constant flexing and stress of pump operation better than the original. The improved materials and design mean it’ll keep working season after season, even with regular use and chemical exposure.
Installation Notes
This connecting rod must be used with the new style diaphragm plate (part 4074256) for proper operation. If you’re replacing the old 4074233 rod, you’ll need to upgrade the diaphragm plate at the same time. It’s a straightforward repair that most folks can handle with basic tools and a little patience.
