Description
If you’ve been out in the field and noticed your disc harrow scraper isn’t doing its job anymore, there’s a good chance this little pin is the culprit. This 5/16 inch by 1-1/4 inch spiral rolled pin keeps your scraper blade securely attached to the mounting bracket, and when it works loose or shears off, your scrapers stop clearing mud and crop residue from the discs like they should.
What You’re Getting
- Precision-sized spiral rolled pin that creates a tight, secure connection
- Spring-loaded design that absorbs shock and vibration during field work
- Heat-treated steel construction that won’t bend or break under normal loads
- Direct replacement for worn or missing original pins
Built for Real Farm Work
This pin is designed specifically for John Deere disc harrow scraper assemblies on models 235, 512, 630, 635, 637, 722, 2310, 2620, 2623, 2623VT, 2625, and 2720. These are the workhorses you count on for seedbed prep, stubble management, and getting fields ready for planting season after season.
Made to Last
Spiral rolled pins work by compressing slightly when installed, then expanding to grip the inside of the mounting hole. This design handles the constant jarring and vibration of disc harrow work better than solid pins, which tend to work loose over time. The spring action also makes installation easier once you get the hang of it.
Installation Notes
These pins install with a hammer and punch—drive the old one out and tap the new one in until it’s flush. The spiral design means it’ll compress as it goes in, then spring back to lock in place. Keep a few spares on hand since they’re small enough to lose in the dirt if one falls out during maintenance.
