Description
If you’ve ever been stuck in the middle of a field trying to patch a broken wire with electrical tape and a prayer, you know how important it is to have proper connectors in your toolbox. These vinyl insulated butt connectors give you a solid, waterproof connection that’ll hold up to the vibrations, weather, and rough conditions that farm equipment dishes out every day.
What You’re Getting
- Funnel entry design makes it easy to get wires in place, even with cold fingers or in tight spaces
- V-groove serrations bite down tight on the wire for maximum holding strength after crimping
- Pure copper construction with tin plating resists corrosion from moisture and farm chemicals
- Blue color coding makes it easy to identify the right size for 16-14 gauge wire
- 100-piece pack keeps you stocked up for multiple repairs
Built for Real Farm Work
These connectors handle everything from light gauge work on dashboard wiring to medium-duty connections on implement lighting and control circuits. Whether you’re fixing trailer lights, patching harness wires, or installing aftermarket accessories, they’re sized right for the most common wire gauges you’ll find on tractors and farm equipment.
Made to Last
The vinyl insulation stays flexible in cold weather and won’t crack or split like cheap alternatives. The copper core won’t corrode and break down like steel connectors, and the tin plating gives you extra protection against the moisture and chemicals that equipment sees every day.
Installation Notes
Strip about 1/4 inch of insulation, slide the wires into each end, and give it a good crimp with quality crimping pliers. The funnel entry guides the wire in straight, and those serrations will grab tight once you crimp down. Keep a few different sizes on hand—you’ll be surprised how often you reach for them.
