Description
If your clutch has been grabbing funny or slipping under heavy loads, or you’ve noticed the pedal feels different than it used to, it might be time to look at your pressure plate. This is the component that clamps your clutch disc to the flywheel when you let off the pedal, transferring all that engine power to the transmission. When it starts wearing out, you’ll know it – and you won’t like working with equipment that won’t engage properly when you need it most.
What You’re Getting
- 11 inch independent PTO design that handles both engine and PTO loads separately
- 6 bolt mounting pattern with 3 lever release system for smooth operation
- 29 spline hub with 1-7/8 inch diameter fits your transmission input shaft perfectly
- TISCO construction built to handle the demanding work these tractors do
- Direct replacement for OEM specifications – no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This pressure plate fits Ford/New Holland 3610, 3910, 4110, and 4610 series tractors, plus the 4000, 4110, and 4200 models from the earlier years. These are solid utility tractors that handle everything from hay operations and livestock work to general farm duties around smaller operations. Whether you’re running a brush hog, operating a loader, or pulling a finish mower, this pressure plate ensures reliable power transfer when you need it.
Made to Last
The independent PTO design means your clutch can handle engine power separately from PTO operations, which is crucial when you’re running equipment like balers or spreaders that need constant PTO power. TISCO builds these to handle the heat and stress that comes with real farm work, using materials that resist warping and maintain proper clamping force season after season.
Installation Notes
This is a transmission-out job that requires splitting the tractor, so it’s typically done during major overhauls or when multiple clutch components need attention. While you’ve got things apart, it’s a good time to inspect the clutch disc, release bearing, and pilot bearing. Use a clutch alignment tool during assembly to ensure everything lines up properly – trying to mate the transmission without one will test your patience and probably your vocabulary.
