Good to Know
Never mix fluids or use substitutes – the few dollars saved isn’t worth another cylinder replacement. Keep LHM mineral oil on hand for topping off and maintenance. When installing, drain the old fluid carefully as LHM stains concrete, and bench-bleed the new cylinder before installation to remove air and speed up final bleeding. Always bleed the system completely starting with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder.
