Good to Know

This is a complete overhaul kit minus the bearings, so you’ll need to measure your crank journals and order rod and main bearings separately. Most rebuilders take this opportunity to have the block checked for cracks and the cylinder bores measured to determine if boring to the 4-inch overbore is needed. It’s also smart to have your crankshaft checked and turned if necessary while everything’s apart.
