Installation Notes

Apply penetrating oil to old studs days before the job – they’re notorious for breaking. If you do break one off, you’ll need to extract it before installing the new stud. Clean the threads in the casting thoroughly before threading in the new studs. Don’t forget to grab the matching nuts – part 62298 – if yours are corroded or damaged.
